This is a family type movie with love story.


Aditya [Shahid Kapur], an industrialist, is heartbroken as the girl he loves is getting married to someone else. Unable to muster up the courage to return home, he drifts out of the gathering and aimlessly boards a train, bounding away into the night.

As destiny would have it, he meets Geet [Kareena Kapoor] -- a beautiful but annoyingly talkative girl who is leaving Mumbai to go her hometown -- Bhatinda. Later, she has plans of eloping with her boyfriend [Tarun Arora].

Geet irritates Aditya to the point of getting him to leave the train. As she tries to get him back on the train, she ends up missing it and the two find themselves stranded on a desolate station with no luggage or money.

Begins the idyllic journey through the exuberant North Indian heartland in which this odd couple make their way through buses and taxis and camel-carts to reach her house in Punjab.

On arrival, Geet's family mistakes the two for lovers. Before this misconception can be cleared, Geet escapes to her boyfriend in Manali. Aditya leaves with her, confirming the suspicion that they are lovers. In Manali, Aditya feels empowered to return to Mumbai and resurrect his ailing business.

Life takes a positive turn and Aditya begins to do well. One day, Geet's family, who think that she is with him, confronts Aditya. He is shocked to learn that Geet has not returned home. He takes it upon himself to find her.

He finally tracks her down in a Himalayan town and begins another journey to reach Bhatinda and flow into the colors and conceptions of a loud and happy North Indian family. How their separate journeys become one, forms the remainder of the story.
 
Its dramatic and serious. Also, things seem to be stretched in this hour.

Shaid has done a very good perforance in this movie.

Thavam

The actor Arun Vijay’s Thavam is an average movie.

The movie starts by  a man and a woman meet at a suicide point atop a waterfall. He is unemployed and she is running away from a forced marriage. After a lot of discussion they decide against jumping down the falls as it would be too gory and prefer consuming sleeping pills and having a peaceful death. They pawn the girl’s gold chain and a have a good time before going back to the guy’s room and consuming sleeping pills. Just then the postman knocks and he brings the news that the guy has got a job .They raise an alarm and are saved at the nick of time from certain death.

After going their separate ways with their families, the ‘suicide attempt’ couple Subramanian (Arun Vijay) and Sumathi (Vandana) realize that they have fallen in love.Meanwhile Subramanian’s boss’s daughter Madhumita (Arpita) an aggressive woman flips her lid for our hero. Sumathi once again on the run from her Thai Mamman who wants to do a shot- gun wedding , ends up as Madhumita’s secretary. Soon Madhu realizes that the love lorn Subramanian’s girl is Sumathi and tries her best to see that the lovers never meet.

Zodiac

The Zodiac, is about astrologically nicknamed serial killer.


A boogeyman from their childhood growing up around San Francisco.


But the case lingers on, and another couple is attacked six months later. Letters purportedly from the Zodiac killer arrive at local newspapers, threatening a rampage of slayings and including codes that supposedly would reveal his identity. Police receive ominous phone calls from the killer, who chalks up more murders.

"The Zodiac" is a bore, crawling along at a dreary pace and presenting characters who are bland. Robin Tunney is wasted in a shallow role as Matt's wife, whose marriage is strained by her husband's obsession with the case, though the filmmakers never make you care if the family might withstand the distress.

As Matt's son, Rory Culkin meanders about in confusion and fear over the murders, getting the occasional father-knows-best pep talk from his dad.

From its feeble dialogue to its clumsy editing to its graceless problems of continuity, "The Zodiac" is an amateur production all around. Michael Suby adds a score that's such a cliche of ominous thriller orchestrations, it might as well be the music for the next "Scary Movie" installment.

Thoovaanam

This movie is not upto the mark.The hero Karthi(Kaushik) anarchitect and Anu (Nethra) are lovers. Karthi has been born and brought up in a village with typical middle class values, and has strong emotional attachment to his mother. Anu on the other hand is a US returned girl, brought up by her dad a yuppie guy (Bhanuchandar) who loves to party. Anu drinks beer and is bold and brazen and open in her life style and attitude, which causes the thaw in the relationship.

Karthi encouraged by his close friends (Maurya, Ponnumani, Suraj) falls madly in love with Anu. But she rejects him basically because of his approach. Karthi attempts suicide. He is saved by his friends who help him recover and start on a new slate. When Anu comes to know about his suicide attempt  she starts to love him.

Cheena Thana 001

his movie is a remake of Malayalam comic hero Dileep's C.I.D Moosa.

Its a good movie.

Prasanna has done a very good role. Prasanna wants to become a cop, but the comedians are determined that he does not get selected. So it becomes a merry-go-round of our hero Vs team of comedians- Vadivel, Mannivannan, comic villain Riaz Khan and assorted 'terrorist' baddies who want to kill the governor, Visu. Sheila is there for the songs tuned by Deva.

Katrathu Tamil

Katrathu tamil lead role is being played by actor Jeeva.This movie stands good in the theateres.This story is about a psycho how he has got frustated without job and faces his life in this world.

Prabhakar (Jeeva) is a Tamil teacher in a private school in west Mambalam area of Chennai. He is frustrated and even tries to commit suicide, in a system where knowing your mother tongue. 10 years back, there were people who were getting Rs 2000 and Rs 20000, but today all that have changed as there are individuals working for IT companies drawing Rs 2 lakhs as salary, while the guy who gets Rs 2000 .

Prabhakar, meets many people and he is always on the run and meets many people like saadhus etc. Jeeva kidnaps a television anchor (Karnas), who records his life story, where he confesses to killing 22 people in cold blood.In the flashback he reveals his past, his upbringing by a Tamil teache and his childhood sweet heart, (Anjali) .

Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram

 Director of this movie is  Suresh Krishna.

A village boy (Dhanush) who is very close to his mother (Archana). He goes to the city in search of job but ends up as the leader of an underworld gang. He becomes the kingpin of all activities while his mother craves for his love. She sets out to the city in search of him and stays with a journalist (Meera Jasmine). His mother comes to town to meet him.Does his mum gets chance to meet him or not its the story.

Chocalate

The movie is so hilarious.Its really worth watching movie.The movie is taken in cool way and its very good entertainer.It has lot of on-liner jokes, the movie is about love in campus.

St Mary’s woman’s college in Kochi has refused to turn into a co-educational college as the Parent Teachers Association (PTA) wants it that way. Ann Mathew (Roma), Nandana (Samvrutha) and Annama (Remya Nambisan) are students in the college who call the shots and are opposed to entry of boys to the college. But as per University rules for PG courses, a boy can be given admission, though PTA led by Das ( Rajan .P.Dev) is fiercely opposed to it, as his daughter Nandana is studying there.(her sisters who studied in co-ed colleges ran away with their boyfriends!)

The principal of the college (Sari), using the loop hole in the PG seat, admits her friend and colleague Vanaja teacher’s (Vanitha) son Shyam (Pritviraj) into the college to do his MA (English) course, which creates an uproar! The gang of three, led by Ann Mathew starts ragging Shyam, a guy who has faced 9 suspensions in his academic career and 7 police cases! Shyam’s advisors are his friends the middle aged Papa ( Salim Kumar) and Fashion designer Ranjit (Jaya Surya), who is in love with Nandana. Soon Shyam becomes the college heart throb, and the love-hate relationship between him and Ann leads to jealousy among the girls especially Neetu. This leads to further complications and drama.


Pritviraj as Shyam has come out with his most lovable performance Roma is sweet.
 

Rock ‘n’ Roll

This movie is not a success one.The movie doe not rock as per the title.

This movie is about Mohanlal tries to compose his songs in kodambakkam ,Chennai.I
In Chandraolsavam the Mohanlal character Srihari, internationally reputed student doing research on music and was living in the culture capital of the world Paris for years before deciding to come down to Kerala to spend time with old friends. He mouths punch dialogues in his inimitable style, has a way with women, enjoys and sings classical music, can speak Sanskrit slokas, has a battalion of friends, is an expert fighter and drinks everything from Nadan(Todday) to scotch whisky!

Now with Rock ‘n’ Roll, Srihari has metamorphosed into Chandramouli an internationally reputed drummer, introduced in the film as an “Ullagam Sutrum Valibhan (globe trotter), who is one day in London, next day in Cape Town and a day after in Chennai! He has played with all major music troupes in the world and is a close friend of Zakir Hussain and A.R Rahman. He will do anything for friends and is a compulsive womaniser and an alcoholic who in front of his bedroom mirror confesses for the first time when he gets smitten by a girl.


Mouli sees it also an opportunity to catch up with his old music troupe consisting of Henry (Rahman) the keyboard player, Issac (Lal) the violinist, Balu(Harisri Asokhan) the tabla player and Viswanathan (Mukesh) a music director. Meenakshi (Shwetha Menon) a choreographer, an old flame of Chandramouli joins the party, as they make merry.
 Chandramouli, falls in love for the first time in his life with Daya Srinivasan (Lakshmi Rai), a Mumbai based singer whom he meets during the Lal Jose’s music recording done by Guna.Friend Khader Bhai (Jagathy) so that he can woo and win over Daya who is protected by her mother and a rich businessman who wants to marry her, so the story goes to that track.

The story lost the track somewhere and it did not show the continuity and made the viewers disappointed.

Naalu Pennungal

The movie is very sentiment movie and it has been picturized well.The movie is realy touching story.

Its about 4 different women from Kuttanad area , who comes from different walks of life, each have a story of their own. The movie have blended the characters well in one form.A
 
The movie is quite authentic and the dress pattern is not about the present time,the dressing style and the set is changed to the 60's.

The first story tells about Kunjipennu (Padmapriya) decides to turn a new leaf by marrying Appukutty ( Sreejith Ravi), a headload worker. But society and one of her former client Ouseappachan (Manoj.K Jayan) still craves for her and falsely implicates the newly married couple who is imprisoned. The judge finds them legally not married and she is not able to stand up to legal scrutiny, as she is uneducated. Justice is denied to Kunjipennu, more due to her social standing and lack of basic knowledge.

The second short story is Kanyaka (The Virgin), about a paddy field labourer Kumari (Geetu Mohandas), who gets into an arranged marriage with Narayanan (Nandu), a shop- keeper and mama's boy who is interested in only watching films .Kumari finds that he is not interested in consummating the marriage, and soon leaves her with her parents. And in a bid to hide his failures, he and his mother spreads canards about Kumari, still a virgin after her marriage.

The third story is about Chinnu Amma (The Housewife). It is the story of a rich housewife Chinnu Amma (Manju Pillai), who after years of married life with her loving and caring husband,(Murali) still does not have any children. One day, a former classmate (Mukesh) for whom she had a crush turns up and enlightens her dull and drab life with his stories of sexual conquests. He tries to influence her by blaming her husband for all her woes and suggests that he can be the surrogate stud for her to have a child. But the strong womanly streak of being loyal to her husband and question of fidelity triumphs in the end. Manju Pillai is adequate for the role.

The final l story is about the Nithyakanyaka (The Spinster), about an unmarried elder sister Kamakshi (Nandita Das).The guy(Ravi Vallathol) who comes to see her first sees her beautiful younger sister (Kavya Madhavan) and marries her, as her helpless mother K.P.A.C Lalitha requests her to make way. Finally her brother (Asokan) and the youngest (Remya Nambisan) in the family too get married and she ends up as unwanted and lonely after her mother's death. She finally decides to go back to her family house and live a solitary life.

Hareendran Oru Nishkalangan

This movie is quite ok.Its quite a commercial movie.Vinayan has has done well. The trouble with the film is that it falls between two stools, and post interval there is no real story to say.

Hareendran (Indrajith) is a software person who runs Starlines a very successful listed company. His right-hand man is his childhood friend Gopalakrishnan (Jayasurya), called GK. Hareendran is a nice guy, who is straightforward and trusts people blindly, while GK is a cunning fox.Hareendran's mother (Ambika) fixes his marriage to Indu (Bhama) who is in love with Alex (Manikuttan).

The villain is GK uses others like a pawn in a chess game, and manipulates them to his advantage which results in Indu running away with Alex a few minutes before Hareendran was to tie the Thali around her neck. This leaves Hareendran shattered, and he becomes an alcoholic and leaves GK to run the company. But a few days later GK is brutally murdered and Hareendran is accused of killing him, and a media witch-hunt start and he is unable to defend himself even after the court acquits him and in the climax the real murderer is found.This movie is has taken a good way.

Thulasi

This movie is worth wtching so go for it.After giving family based entertainers like Lakshmi and Aadavari Mataluku Ardhale Verule, Venkatesh has emerged winner with this sensibly packaged sentimental family drama with an additional dose of action in the company of his lucky heroine Nayantara.

Tulasi Ram alias Tulasi (Venkatesh) loves and marries Vasundhara (Nayantara).Tulasi enters into a tug of war with the villain and takes up hectic campaign to see the win of his father (Vijay Kumar) and he does it. Raging with grudge, the villain sends his henchmen to kill Tulasi and in the clash, Vasundhara's brother (Sivaji) is killed.

Vasundhara starts fearing the faction politics. She gets separated from Tulasi, taking away their little son Harsha (Athulith). Now, it is the turn of Tulasi to rescue his wife and Harsha who suffers from a cerebral problem, which his wife doesn't know. Then how the problesm gets solves from operation and other thing is the story.

Music director Devi prasad has dome good job.

 

Viyyalavari Kayyalu

Viyyalavari Kayyalu has action, sentiment, comedy, emotion and also a message. But, the villains of the film are bad. Srihari's special role and Uday Kiran's ease are the strengths of the film.

A hairstylist Vamsy (Uday Kiran) rescues a girl Nandini ( Neha Julka) from the clutches of some rowdies. The girl immediately starts loving him and convinces him about her pure and selfless love. The boy sets out to convince the girl's brother Bhupati Rayudu (Srihari), a good-hearted factionist in Rayalaseema.


Srihari is the most important character in the film. It is not an exaggeration to say that he is the real hero of the film, considering his dominating role in the second half and climax. J

Stunts by Ram Laksham deserve special mention. The audience might think that there would be no stunts as the movie's title is homely. You do have serious stunts and even bloodshed on par with any other violent movie. It might even compete with the recent films like `Tulasi`, `Chiruta` and `Atidhi` when it comes to violence.

Takkari

This movie is remake of tamil movie Tiruvilayadal Aarambham. Amma Rajasekhar has improvised his directorial skills.

Tirupathi (Nitin) is a brilliant guy, who wants to become a realtor, much to the opposition from his father (Chandramohan), who doesn't give him single paise to start with. Another thread is that Tirupati wins the heart of a rich girl Priya (Sada), sister of a business tycoon and villainous Guru (Sayaji Shinde). Now, he gets a chance to get investment and realize his ambition in the real estate business. Guru wants him to drop from the love game. Tirupati in return demands Rs. 25 lakh to forego his ladylove. The deal is clinched through. Then what happens does he able to do well in his business by investing the amount/does the hero gets back the lady love. Satyam Rajesh and other characters playing friends to Nitin did a neat job.

The story is predictable, but is treated with good commercial elements.

Good choreography. Chakri's music is a big asset to the film and among the songs, "AmmiAmmi.."

Maisamma IPS

This movie is not upto the expectation.

A girl child is born to a helpless mother when the jatara (a public religious festival) of Goddess Maisamma is going on in a Telengana village. The child is named as Maisamma. Her parents are killed in a natural calamity. The child is taken care of by her sister Durga. A small time rowdy Sadhu (Sayaji Shinde) marries Durga and forces her to do prostitution for his political ambitions. At one stage, the rowdy tries to rape minor girl Maisamma. While both sister run for their life, Sadhu prompts his dogs to kill his wife Durga, while Maisamma escapes. She later becomes a police officer Maissamma IPS (Mumaith Khan). She lives for one goal – to kill those who are responsible for her sister's death.

The characterization is weak and confused.

A couple of songs are worth watching. Though, Mumaith Khan is made to wear stylish and strange dresses on the lines of an action heroine of Hollywood, the effort isnot upto the mark

Marudhamalai

Arjun and Vadivel has done well in the movie.The movie is combination of glamour,sentiments and action filled with romance.

 Maruthamalai (Arjun) is a son of a retired police constable (Nassar) whose only dream is that his son joins the force. Maruthamalai is selected as a low level constable and posted to a Wild West type place called Nachiapuram police station where the Head constable is 'Encounter' Ekambaram (Vadivel), a corrupt and typical caricature of a cop. What happens then is a typical Tom and Jerry, one-man upmanship game between Maruthamalai and Ekambaram.

Nachiapuram is a villan of the movie (Malayalam actor Lal) He has not allowed election to be held in the place for the last 20 years, as the government has made it a reserved constituency.

 Suryanarayanan (Reghuvaran), who wants to cleanse the situation, and soon he is able to pack off Maasi to the jail with the help of Malai who transforms himself into a one-man fighting machine after his father is killed by Maasi's men. T

Arjun the evergreen action hero does his role in his typical style, while Vadivel the real hero of the film does his normal comic act .

This movie is very good entertainer.The director of the movie is Boopathy Pandian. Vishal’s forte acts as a action hero.
The movie is about romance, dance, sentiment, action and comedy.

The fist half of the movie is with comedy and romance, which sticks out like a sore thumb while in the second half he plays more to his strength of action, which he delivers with ease.

Anbu (Vishal) lives with his family in Pudukottai.One day he gets into a fracas with a local politician (‘Kathal’ Dhandapani) and his comic henchmen while trying to save a friend and is arrested and case registered .

He meets a girl on a terrace and falls for her. It is love at first sight.That girl is  about Malar (Priya Mani) a college girl. And in the police station where he has to sign daily is manned by his Chittappa Kanthaswamy (Ashish Vidyarti), a comic sub-inspector whose ex-lover Kamala (Urvasi) is the lady constable at the station. Anbu kindles the love life of his uncle and makes merry at Malar’s college leading to funny situations.

The politician Palani (Devaraj) and his brother Guna (Ajay), who have killed the local RDO in cold blood watched by a huge crowd of onlookers. Anbu, who while trying to save Malar from a difficult situation ends up getting the wrath of the brothers. Anbu, the one-man army does a good demolition job and cleans up Tiruchi from bad people.

 
 

Sathum Podaathay

The story ris about Bhanu (Padmapriya) who gets married to Ratnavel (Nitin Satya) a guy who works in railways as he is a sportsman. But soon the relationship turns sour, when the couple realize after a gynecologist ( Suhasini in a cameo) tells them that Ratnavel is impotent. In spite family pressures to get a mutual divorce, the old fashioned Bhanu decides to go ahead with the marriage by adopting a child.the arrival of the baby makes Ratnavel more angry then he starts to drink more and hurts Bhanu.Seeing this she could not withstand him anymore so she walks out. Bhanu meets Ravichandran (Pritviraj) a happy-go-lucky guy who proposes to her.Then what happens does she gets Ravichadran and how Ratnavel reacts the story goes on.

Pasupathi c/o Rasakkapalayam

Pasupathi c/o Rasakkapalayam its starts with comedy, but post interval turns out to be a steamy. The only silver lining in otherwise a boring film is the comedy of Vivek, who plays a parallel role to Ranjith.

The films first half is lifted from Uthaman, a Jayaram Malayalam comedy about a guy who lives in a police station as a handy man to the cops and the second half is about old age home inmates and mother sentiments from Pritviraj’s Ammakilikoodu. P

Pasupathy (Ranjith) is a village who is in search of a job, and becomes a sort of handyman in a police station run by Das(Vivek), a constable who gets promoted as a Sub- Inspector thanks to the efforts and brawn of the former. Das and other cops become dare devil. Pasupathy get connected with naxalite to earn Rs 5 lakhs make money for his mother’s operation.

Vivek has done good comedy show.

Onbadhu Roobai Nottu

This movie is very emotional one & it will sob your heart by Thankar Bachchan's Onbadhu Roobai Nottu. It is a film that reminds you of a 60's glycerin tearjerkers, about loving parents who are driven out of their house by their ungrateful kith and kin.

Director  starts the movie using an old ploy directors the flashback technique, by having the central character Madhava Padayachi (Sathyaraj) narrating his tale of woe to a young man ( Azhagi Satish) who saves him from humiliation. The guy is going back from Chennai to his village in a bus, and recognizes Madhava Padayachi a rich farmer who long time back was the heart and soul of his village Pachaikottai near Panruti.

The story abou life of Madhava Padayachi who is honest and hard working farmer who will do anything for others, heads a joint family. His wife Velayi (Archana) is his pillar of strength, but his sons, daughters and other relatives does not approve of his large hearted nature especially in money matters. And a close relative Dandapani (dance director Shivashankar in a loin cloth!) turns his children against him. One day he gets humiliated by his children and on the spur of the moment leaves home in the company of his loyal wife, never to return!

Sathyaraj has done complete Tamil actor daring to be different. He lives the role of Madhava Padyachi and presides over the film like a torch whose burning is invisible to everyone but the viewer. Nassar and Rohini play as the Muslim couple .

 Bhardwaj has composed well music and meaningful lyrics of Vairamuthu

Aja Nachle- Music Review

Aaja Nachle serves to be special. Aaja Nachle is the most comeback film of Madhuri Dixit.
This movie is all about dance.So there is no doubt how the music would be.

 Yash Raj has done well.

With strong Indian classical influence, Salim-Sulaiman get the Indian mood right for this song that has a rustic edge to it and reminds one of Madhuri's own Chane Ke Khet Mein from Anjaam. A sure shot popular track in the kitty for Madhuri here. The only song to find a repeat version in the album, Aaja Nachle is heard in a 'reprise' version at the end of the album which is thankfully different from oh-so-common fly-a-dozen remix versions!

After some 'naach-gaana', it is time to get into a romantic mood with Ishq Hua. With a young feel to it, this Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal.

Salim-Sulaiman get the melody working for this soothing track which is quite easy on ears, courtesy some soft arrangements. Ishq Hua has a Yash Raj stamp all over it and has a certain cute element to it which should make it popular amongst kids as well.

No Smoking

This movie is ery disappointing one.
 Cigarette smoking is injurious to health and Kashyap wants to highlight this message loud and clear via his new movie.

No Smoking leaves you exasperated and disgusted. Exasperated, because till the end credits roll, you just don’t know what happened in those 2 hours.

K [John Abraham] is a stubborn and obnoxious guy, who does exactly what he wants. A chain smoker, he feels nothing can come between him and his cigarette -- not his wife [Ayesha Takia], his friend [Ranvir Shorey] or his life. Till he encounters Baba Bengali [Paresh Rawal].

Baba Bengali has his own set of draconian laws to stop people from smoking. He guarantees results, provided his clients obey his orders to the T. But K revolts and pays a heavy price for it.


There’re hardly any songs in the narrative, but the one filmed on Jesse Randhawa [Jab Bhi Cigarette Peeta Hoon] is imaginatively filmed.

John makes a sincere attempt to leave a mark and succeeds to an extent. Really, one wonders, what prompted John to instantly approve this bizarre story! Ayesha runs through her role mechanically.

Taare Zameen Par ( Music Review)

Prasoon Joshi's lyrics follow a poetic route which means double the effort for the composers to think innovatively. Taare Zameen Par would make for an emotional cinematic viewing.
Singer Raman Mahadevan builds on the melodious feel of the album with Kholo Kholo which is about opening up the world around you and breathing all the air in the beautiful surroundings. Very urban and belonging to soft-rock, Kholo Kholo has a guitar as it's base instrument which works wonders with Raman's smooth vocals. A.R. Rahman and Gulzar saab would definitely approve the kind of great job that Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Prasoon Joshi do.
Aamir Khan begins Bum Bum Bole with some funny sounding gibberish which is meant to appeal to the kids. Bum Bum Bole takes a rhythmic mood.
Jame Raho, a song that takes a listener through the journey of a student from waking up in the morning to going to school to studying hard and achieving success.
10 singer for Bheja Kum, a two minute rock track which starts with the words 'Idiot, why can't you'.
With Maa, Shankar Mahadevan gives himself another good solo after the title song Taare Zameen Par.

 

Bee Movie

After Antz,A Bug's Life,Flushed Away and this summer's Ratatouille, Bee Movie is yet another animated flick with a starry cast in which a creature that ordinarily would seem pesky is rendered as not just harmless but even lovable and idiosyncratically human.  

There is zero life left in this concept, even if it does spring this time from the fertile mind and absurd sensibility of Jerry Seinfeld.

The comic co-wrote, co-produced and stars in this colorful jaunt as a bee named Barry, who dares to leave the tradition and rigidity of New Hive City for the vast unknown of the outside world — specifically, the corner of 67th and Columbus on Manhattan's Upper West Side, Seinfeld's longtime stomping grounds on TV and in real life.

Bee Movie somewhat is that it's flooded with Seinfeld's sense of humor — his trademark observations on the ridiculous minutiae of our daily lives. That should keep his fans, and adults in general, relatively entertained. There are some cute lines here and there .

Barry, a recent college graduate, could go work for the Honex Corp. alongside his nebbishy best friend, Adam (Matthew Broderick), making honey as bees have for millions of years. In a highly detailed set-up sequence, he learns he could be a heater, cooler, crud picker or stirrer like his dad (Barry Levinson; Kathy Bates does the voice of Barry's mom).


Bee Movie, a DreamWorks Animation release, is rated PG for mild suggestive humor.

Feast Of Love

This movie is about love relationship.That Feast of Love is an overstuffed melodrama, better suited for broadcast as a TV movie of the week than as a theatrical release.

That it comes from Robert Benton, a veteran whose output has slowly, steadily declined in quality since writing Bonnie and Clyde and writing and directing Kramer vs. Kramer, is just plain sad.

One (played by Selma Blair) abruptly leaves her husband (Greg Kinnear) for another woman - a stereotypical, softball-playing, predatory lesbian. Another (Alexa Davalos) consults a psychic about her blossoming romance with a fellow coffee house employee (Toby Hemingway), then goes into a tizzy of wedding and baby planning based on the forecast.

The worst (Radha Mitchell) is involved with a married man (Billy Burke), then marries Kinnear's character Bradley for stability rather than love, yet maintains the affair with this person who's quick to slap her across the face and call her the most profane word you can hurl at a woman.



In the middle of all this is Freeman's Harry Stevenson, a local philosophy professor and regular customer who watches all these people falling in and out of love.Freeman, he also provides warm, fatherly advice and plenty of voiceover, such as: ''Sometimes you don't know you've crossed a line 'til you're already on the other side.''


He and Alexander do have a couple of lovely scenes together, though, as a longtime married couple who get involved in everyone's lives to avoid the pain of grieving their dead son. They're the only ones at this feast who feel even remotely like real people, and they're the ones we see the least.

Fred Claus

Vince Vaughn plays the same guy he always plays, the smart-alecky, fast-talking, seemingly insincere hustler who ultimately turns out to be a lovable lug beneath the bravado in Fred Claus. Only this time he does it surrounded by elves and toys with jaunty Christmas music .


And the thing is, the central nugget of an idea behind the movie isn't bad.
Fred Claus, who's spent a lifetime seething in the shadow of his loving, generous younger brother, Nicholas (Giamatti), better known as Santa. Mom (Bates) always liked Nick better.

Fred, however, is thoroughly contemporary. He's a repo man who's not above squabbling with little girls over their personal belongings. Early on, he pretends to be a Salvation Army volunteer just to pilfer dollar bills from the kindhearted holiday shoppers wandering Chicago's streets. (He then gets chased down Michigan Avenue by a dozen angry Santas and ends up being arrested, a foreshadowing of further wacky antics to come.)


Fred arrives at the shiny, shopping mall-style North Pole, much to the dismay of Nick's wife, Annette (Richardson), who thinks he's good for nothing and immediately stirs things up just as Spacey's stern, bespectacled character, Clyde Northcutt, shows up to evaluate the operation's productivity with an eye to shutting the place down.

Lions for Lambs

 
The movie works here and there and is quite moving in a few places. At other times, it's a dry discourse on who, why and how we're fighting, and what good, if any, may come of it.It realy creates lot od doubtfulness.

Ths movie is all about fight.The structure, three interlocked stories taking place simultaneously in Washington, California and Afghanistan, screams convolution, even contortion, given how relatively short the movie is.

In Afghanistan, two of Malley's favorite former students, Arian (Derek Luke) and Ernest (Michael Pena), who deeply disappointed their mentor by enlisting, find themselves in enemy crossfire resulting from the battle plan concocted by Irving.

The movie flits, at times clunkily, among the three settings, which could be said to loosely correspond to the heart (Arian and Ernest's story), the head (Malley's tale) and the guts (Irving and Roth's scenario) of the terrorism debate.


Lions for Lambs, released by MGM's United Artists banner, is rated R for some war violence and language.

Margot at the Wedding

This movie shows how they damage themseleves and the loved ones when they torn aprt from each other by divorce which happens in life.The movie is  got charming tastes, then his latest effort, Margot at the Wedding.

It shows unpleasant characters to grace a movie screen in a long time and then asks us to become involved in their bitchy and hateful escapades for 90-odd minutes. The result: a lot of good and brave performances in the service of a film that is as profoundly annoying and irritating that you’ll want to do a reverse Purple Rose of Cairo and jump into the screen just so that you can slap some sense into the characters.

11 year-old son Claude (Zane Pais) in tow, Margot (Nicole Kidman) is anxiously travelling to her childhood home to attend the wedding of her sister, Pauline (Jennifer Jason Leigh) to unemployed oaf, Malcolm (Jack Black). An egotistic self-absorbed, judgmental woman, Margot instantly disapproves of the union, going about her business wrecking lives as she enjoys the weekends. she gradually thinks about her own life.

Margot is embarrassed by her sister’s attraction to Malcolm, equally repulsed and dependent on her son’s attention, and finds herself drawn to conflict as a means to reinforce her own intelligence. Nicole Kidman brings this character to life as a fountain of hypocrisy, and it’s a lovely performance .

 

Love in the Time of Cholera

This movie is romatic drama.Florentino (Javier Bardem) spied Fermina (Giovanna Mezzogiorno), he declares his  love for her. By courting through love letters, the two grew quite fond of each other, pursuing their romance to the brink of marriage. But Fermina’s father becomes enraged and eventually promises her to another man (Benjamin Bratt), Florentino sticks to his guns, vowing that he will never give up on their love. As the decades pass, Fermina finds her marriage to be less than appetizing.

If Cholera sounds romantic,by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This is a lengthy narrative, stretching over 50 years and vast emotional mileage.

As a four-hankie, expansive period romance, Cholera is a miscarriage, powerless to rise above its own creepiness which makes the movie stand back.

Savages

Is about brother and sister Jon and Wendy Savage (Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney) are screwed-up and self-absorbed, but they certainly seem realistic. Sometimes they're shrill, sometimes they're scared, often they're incredibly thoughtless and have no qualms about lying to each other for all things.

But as they come together to deal with one of the trickier aspects of growing into middle age, caring for an elderly parent who can no longer care for himself, they make plenty of wrong things.

Tamara Jenkins is the director of the movie.It certainly helps a great deal that Jenkins has consistently nuanced performers in Hoffman and Linney to play the lead roles. When you think about the varied, complex choices both actors have made throughout their careers, it's a wonder they've never worked together before, and it's a joy to see them share the screen now. A

Mott Hupfel is cinematographer.

She can barely manage her own life, much less someone else's; nevertheless, she approaches the prospect of finding her father a home with thorough Type-A vigour.

Enchanted

 Disney’s latest princess feature movie is Enchanted is an amusing one that plays more happily to the all-important four quadrant ideals than anything else the studio has released this year. However, it’s a charmer with severe reservations.

Its a fairy tale land of Andalasia, Giselle (Amy Adams) is preparing for her wedding to Prince Edward (James Marsden),stepmother, Queen Narissa (Susan Sarandon).Narissa pushes Giselle does magic and she comes to New York City. O When attempts by Narissa’s henchmen (Timothy Spall) to kill Giselle fail, the Queen heads down the fountain herself to finish the job, while Edward traipses around the city with a rodent pal vowing to save his fiancée.

Its a  2D animation fold for the Disney company.c

Director Kevin Lima does a excellent job pinpointing the fairy tale aesthetic for Enchanted, jamming the film with talking animals, lavish costumes, and bouncy musical numbers. There are also a hundred references to other celebrated fantasies, most presented in an obvious fashion (single slippers, poisoned apples) so the audience can make a game of spotting the tributes.

Polladhavan

In this movie the hero Dhanush and Divya have done fantastic role.They hav made the movie appealing well.Balu Mahendra's assistant, Vetrimaranis the director  for the movie Polladhavan. It has Dhanush and Divya (formerly known as Koothu Ramya) in the lead. Vetri is a Chennai underworld.

Similarly Polladhavan is about a happy, straightforward, unemployed young boyPrabhu (Dhanush), living a lower middle class family in a slum in Vadapalani- Saligramam- a Bajaj Pulsar bike.His family has got disciplined strict father (Malayalam actor Murali), loving mother (Bhanupriya) and sister blame his friends (Karnas and Santhanam) for their son's. One day Prabhu steals money from his father who in a fit of rage throws Rs 70,000 at him, his life savings when he is accused by his son that he has not done anything for him in his life.

Prabhu, buys a black Bajaj Pulsar bike with the money.He is able to get a job in a bank as collection agent because he owns two-wheeler. One day Prabhu realizes the job and the bike has given him respect in the society. His father starts to give respect and his girl also starts to adore him.

 Prabhu's gets intervened with don Selva (Kannada actor Kishore) and his psychotic younger brother Ravi (Daniel Balaji), who runs the local drug mafia group. Problem continues and his life gets shattered and his bike also gets stlolen,His life all of a suddenchanges wee he loses his job, then prabhu goes for his bike search.

The movie is dialogues are quite intresting and simple.Its a good entertainer movie.Its has got a remix song which rocks everyone.This movie is worth watching.

Machakaran

Jeevan wanted to give good movie but it turned him down.

The movie has got 6 songs.  Vicky (Jeevan) is the eldest son of a Railway officer, what ever he does he was looked down by his family. Jeevan meets Shivani (Kamna Jethmalani) , daughter of a rich textile owner, who has brought all the luckto her dad.

 Vicky is drawn towards the ‘lucky girl’ Shivani and they start to love each other.They elope due to situation . Shivani’shas got brother who is cop searches in  hot pursuit. The lovers decide to go to heroine dad'svillage in Theni, where Jeevan becomes good fr the locals and they give him honour.

The movie slips away.The songs does not impress much.

Agra

 

Agra, is a very simple straightforward story, packaged with enough steamy scenes to attract the audiences .Neema (Anjali) the heroine is a research student in New York, who comes to India to do aproject on the subject of 'love'. She stays with her family  friend Kannan (Nasser) in a houseboat of Kerala.

Neema meets a couple of young people, who have experienced lovefailures. Each young men have to tell there story and how they were ditched by their lover. Kannan has has a love affair and he waits for to come.

 Kannan (Vikas), a violinist and his music troupe had gone to Agra for a programme. Kannan meets sales girl Pooja (Emi Mohan) selling miniature curios of the Taj Mahal, and love at first sight. Kannan has immortal love for Priya, whose Thakur family iand thet are dead against  there love.

The movie has lot of deawback like the heroin from thakur family &  her house members talk well tamil.

Vel

This movie is good entertaining one with romance/action /sentiment etc.. with artist involved are Surya,Asin Lakshmi, Raj Kapoor, Kalabhavan Mani and Charan Raj.
The movie begins with a family, which has twin children, being separated with one child. The separated boys grow up in different environments. One boy grows in Chennai becomes an officer (Vasu) in a private investigative agency and the other boy grows in Dindukkal becomes a typical rusty young man (Vel). Vasu falls in love with a television hostess '7 Up' Swati (Asin). Vel and Sankarapandi (Kalabhavan Mani), a former minister and local strongman don’t get along . The twins meet up and they fight against the villain in different ways.

Surya with his double role has done a wonderful job. Vadivel also has done a great job
Music of Yuvan is quite okay in this movie.

Disturbia

This Disturbia is a movie were a troubled teenage boy Kale (Shia LeBoeuf) who is under house arrest and believes that his neighbour Mr. Turner (David Morse) is a serial killer. teenager looses his father in a fatal car crash and suffers form trauma.Teenager gets 3months house arrest for having trouble with his teacher. He is confined to a 100 foot circle around his home.

The mother (Carrie-Anne Moss) takes away his i-pod /television /playing video games, then the teenager starts on his neighbours with the help of binoculars & video cameras. He discovers that his neighbor Mr. Turner as suspicious similarities with a wanted serial killer who slaughters young women. The suspect has a Mustang which as described to that of the serial killer.

Kale gets trouble in investigating .He fails to convince the cops and even his mother. Kale's techno-cool friend Ronnie (Aaron Yoo) who served the audience with some joke.. Girl next door Ashley (Sarah Romere) also being spied upon adds romantic interest to the story..The girl meets Kale and she starts to get involved in the game and enjoys watching people. The story takes a new turn when Mr. Turner gets romantically involved with Kale's mother. The movie has lot of suspense where it makes the story interest to watch. It’s a very entertaining movie.

Ratatouille

The animated movie is fun to watch where Remy a young French cat moves to paris with dream to become a chef.Remy has got few inborn gift.Remy enter to Guestau a famous restaurant . Auguste Gusteau was the greatest chef in the world and had written a book “Anyone Can Cook”. Remy learns in real life how rats are hated in the kitchen. . Remy meets the Linguini new garbage boy .Linguini gets impressed by Remy's cooking talent. Linguini hides Remy below his chef's hat. Remy pulls on Linguini's hair teaches him to create delicious new dishes. Chief Chef Skinner does not like this. Pixar Animation Studios which has given us fabulous animations. . Its worth watching this movie.

Kannamoochi Enada

The director priya 2nd movie is Kannamoochi Enada after Kanda Naal Muthal.This movie did not attract lot of viewers. Cinematographer Preetha has done great job.The movie is without violence.This story is not original version its from the englsih movie Meet the parents.Amazing performance was done by Radhika and Sathyaraj.

Deva ( Sandhya )daughter of Aarumugham (Sathyaraj- Chennai city police commissioner) and his wife Damayanthi (Radhika).Haris (Prithviraj) meets Deva and falls in love in first sight itself.Harish loses his parents in childhood and he was been taken care by his uncle Radha Ravi), a businessman in Malaysia..
Harish (Prithviraj) loses his parents at an early age and is brought up by his uncle (Radha Ravi). Aarumugham does not like Harish and is suspicious about him right from the time that they first meet.

Arumugam's behavior makes his wife weary of him.Because Aarumugham and Harish don’t get along well in the same house.does of this, Deva starts to turn against Harish and asks him to keep away from her. Harish trys and bring her parents together when Damayanthi and up with the help of Harish and they help Harish win back his lover Deva.

The first half shows the love between Prithvi and Sandhya. And the second half, Sathyaraj and Radhika. The Sathyaraj makes all audience to smile.His actiong is superb and a good enjoyable experience. Radhika plays his loving wife. Sandhya has played her role with ease. Yuvan Shankar Raja has given us a fantastic song like Megame Megame and remix of Anru Vanthathum Athe Nila .

Beowulf

The Beowulf is 3D animate picture with violence.The move is directed by 
Director Robert Zemeckis,who also did movie in 2004's The Polar Express.
 

The 3-D effects are extremely cool and Beowulf is also being shown in IMAX 3-D, if your brain can stand the sensory overload. The movie is full of swords, spurts of blood and seems to come out of nowhere from behind the buildings, ocean waves etc. The reflection in water is done well.

The Actors are Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Robin Wright Penn, Brendan Gleeson and especially Angelina Jolie as Grendel's seductive, magical mother.
 
King Hrothgar prays that someone will come to his kingdom and kill the mighty, and mightily misunderstood as  Grendel. His prayers get answered when Beowulf arrives on his shores with his army of warriors; meanwhile, his young queen, Wealthow (Penn).

Beowulf likes the rich,women and fame that being a well-known slayer of sea monsters and dragons can bring, so much so that he perhaps fudges the details here and there in the retelling of his many conquests.

Jolie, she's covered with gold by wearing high heels for the feet and a braid that whips around like a devil's tail.

If you like fantasy movie with dragon and sword play the dont miss to watch the movie.

The set is like ancient times were it holds lot of heroism and bravery.

SAAWARIYAN

This movie is shot fully in the dark set.This movie does not look like Sanjay bhansali movie.Raj (Ranbir Kapoor) acted well.He is musician meets a shy girl sakina( Sonam Kapoor) freindhsip starts and later love.

Rani Mukerjee loves Salman khan in the move. Something was missing from the beginning till end.It was not done with sequence.

Songs were good. Ranbir is handsome and smart , his performance were amazing .Sonam on the other hand she is an average actor, may be the character was not up to the level for her to show her strength.

Om Shanti Om

If you are a great fan of SK and like to watch a masala movie dont miss OSO.

The movie starts showing the year seventies. You can meet Om Prakash Makhija, a junior artiste and an aspiring star whose world is his mother (Kirron Kher), his friend Pappu( Shreyas Talpade) and Shanti Priya( Deepika) . The hero and heroine meets in film shoot and when hero saves herione the love starts.

But Shanti Priya wanted to marry with biggie producer, Mukesh Mehra (Arjun Rampal).

Beore the interval Hero death happens and immediate re –incarnation.

Shanti Priya and Mukesh Mehra will get in mishap which has done very well in the movie.SK in his second life does have a sign on his wrist.Talpade is good and Arjun Rampal shines in a bad role.Ajab Si/Main Agar /Deewangi- Deewangi/Ek Haseena thi songs are wonderfulVishal Shekhar’s composed the tunes well.

Azhagiya Tamil Magan

ATM is good humo movie.Double role for Vijay- a good guy and the bad guy.Vijay has acted very casual way.Guru (hero) a business management student is an ace sprinter, who lives with his friends (Santhanam and Sathyan) for a rented housewber of the house is (Shakeela) . He is a good guy and al neighbours and his friends like him.The hero mother is(Geeta) who lives in a village near Madurai. The hero meets Abhinaya (Shreya), a rich girl and they slowly falls in love with him due to his good heart. After sometime parents agree.
Suddenly Guru starts having sith sense.After check up they come to know its Extra-Sensory Perception (ESP). Before engagement Guru feels to kill Abhi.Guru feels bad about the situtaion and leave to Mumbai.
On the other hand Prasad (Vijay), a financier comes to Chennai and accidentally meets Abhi.She mistakes him as Guru.Prasad, by getting a chance het gets engaged to Abhi. Guru senses problem and he returns to Chennai to save Abhi.

The movie from begning till end is hilarious.Vijay has done a great job.Music of AR.Rahman adds flavour to the movie.

Bheema Music

The music of Bheema has turned out well.Harris jayaraj has not disappointed his fan's. The success of his music started from his first composed movie Minnale and till now all his songs rock . Songs in Bheema-mainly rangu rangamma - is a dance beat song were he has used drums and flute with good tempo and beat.Ragasiya kanavuagal melody song is a very good.Siru Parvayile is a fine rhythm song, which gives a nice feel. Likewise the song of oru mugamo and enaduyire also has got nice music touch for the lyrics written. So don’t miss to hear the songs of Bheema.After Samy movie -Vikram and Trisha are acting in this movie. Like how Trisha gave mind blowing dance in Gilli, will she dance the same way? So let’s keep guessing till the movie releases. Till then let’s enjoy the music" Bheema".
